SteelSeries Announces Professional Gaming Mice
It would seem the guys at SteelSeries have gone and done something i’ve been hoping they would do for quite some time, they have gone away and used the contacts to develop there very own gaming mouse
The SteelSeries Ikari Optical was designed as a no-bullshit, top performer for FPS gamers. The research and development emphasized a “no nonsense, no crap” approach with proven optical technology that allows gamers consistent, fast movements without technical difficulties of any kind.
The SteelSeries Ikari Laser mouse was specifically designed for RTS and MMO gamers in mind that features programmable macros and custom settings designed to increase the users Actions Per Minute (APM) count. The mouse can be programmed from home and will remember the settings for tournament use even without installing drivers.
I really love the way they have created a Optical and Laser version of the mouse as this will allow you to take the version you prefer - as like me i hate laser mice, well at least ive yet to find a decent one!

loooooks sweet i bet it fits the hand great, its kinda a MSI 3.0/Razer copperhead/G5 together and it i bet its sweeeettt
Yeah im really looking forward to seeing this mouse, it seems to be a bit chunky at the base but with the grip of a 3.0
Also really love the Lazer/Optical version idea make so much sense!
