Deathmatch for Dollars
For a while now we here at Midnight Evil have been thinking about hosting a CS Source Deathmatch event with a nice big cash prize fund.
Now what we would like to know is just how many of you would be intrested in something like this? It would be around £5-10 to enter and the winner (highest fragger) would win the pot.
So thinking along them lines, if we got 20 people playing in the event there would be a £200 prize for the winner, not bad for a quick bit of fragging 
We are still in the planning stage of this, so what we need is for people intrested in this to post a comment below stating how much they would be prepared to pay to enter and what map they would like to see played.
We are looking at getting this going within the next two weeks or so, but we may wait until after the i28 weekend.

I think its touch n go, On one hand there should be aload of source players skilled enough to think they can take this and willing to give up there chips
on the other..

I aint that skilled but should be a laugh, Nick used his advertising skills well, 1st he said “PART WITH UR DOLE MONEY BELLENDS” which made me really interested, then he slapped me with a trout, more reason to signup =/ =D .

As CS isnt made for deathmatch play (EG, no map control, item respawns, pickup faking etc) it could be a bit too random
By having a lower entry fee, makes the risk of a random result more acceptable =)

3x event at £5 each, not d2, something like train, contra etc.
at any rate i wouldnt mind spending £5 to win £100

yea £5 ahead sounds class
yeah i’d do it, fiver sounds good too, i think nuke would be pretty good for it, good mix between outside and close inside fighting, you can awp on it too if u want, i think aztec, cbble or train would end up being awpfests and too choked up especially with 20.. d2 is alright but way overplayed even on deathmath
im so up for a d2 dm, and £5 doesnt sound like too much.
